At Sync the City Norwich, I participated in an intense 54-hour startup hackathon that transformed raw concepts into viable business prototypes. This prestigious event brings together Norwich's brightest entrepreneurs, developers, and designers to collaborate under tight deadlines.Working with a diverse team, I helped develop both technical solutions and business strategies, culminating in a competitive pitch to industry experts and investors. The experience enhanced my rapid prototyping skills, validated my ability to perform under pressure, and strengthened my collaborative approach to problem-solving.

The Goal:

My team, Budget Buddy, had the idea to create a finance app for students and younger users to help teach finance skills to users who might not have learnt them in school in a fun, Interactive way. so, as one of 2 designers on the team the other being Hanley Whelpton, we designed the mock-up designs on what the app would look like and how features would work.

Budget Buddy was built to help these students and younger users learn effortlessly and have fun whilst learning. This interactive learning app concept combines informative content with gamified features, offering a variety of learning material tailored for younger users, students, and other young adults. With Budget Buddy, Learning Valuable finiacial skills and knowledge has never been easier.
